Purpose of the position
The Aircraft Cabin Technician is part of a team that delivers high quality cabin maintenance work within the EASA part 145 and BA approved scope and guidelines.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
The Aircraft Cabin Technician will quickly learn cabin maintenance activities and develop at least 2 of the following specialties:
He/she assists in base maintenance and line maintenance to avoid cabin related discrepancies in accordance with the manufacturer approved maintenance data
He/she assists in cabin shop activities to ensure a clean and perfect cabin for our guests. This entails working on parts such as sidewall panels, floor panels, bins, seats, ceilings, toilets, galley’s, linings, etc.
He/she shares responsibility for the administration in accordance with the Brussels Airlines scope and EASA 145 rules
He/she ensures that level of the cabin shop meets the EASA 145 requirements by guarding cleanliness, tools, equipment and stock

The Baggage Services Team Leader manages, supervises and coordinates all baggage services activities network wide for SN as well as the other LHG airlines in the BRU-Hub, performed by the handlers. He/she is also in charge of the Secondary Tracing department that handles lost bags after five days without solution. He/she structures, organizes and sets priorities to ensure optimal operation processes and ensures that the quality and standards of safety are followed at all times together with high standards of customer service. Operational & administrational follow up of the lost & found handlers network wide
Manages tracing department in an efficient and professional way, to ensure a close follow-up and limit delay in file closure
Key contact point and expert for SN, coordinating and collaborating on multiple projects and initiatives with external partners

What does the training program look like?
Successful candidates will start their 19-month flight training with our training partner Skywings Flight Training, based at Antwerp Airport.
After graduation, trainees will be holder of an “EASA MPL License”, with a type rating on the Airbus A320. The MPL license will evolve into an ATPL license after 1500 flight hours and with all experience and competence requirements met.
The training is a fulltime program and is not combinable with other activities such as a (side) job. The training has little to no vacation periods but foresees in ample rest days. Training occasionally takes places during the weekend and outside of office hours.
Your main training base is at the Skywings Flight Training campus at Antwerp Airport, but part of your training may take place in a fair-weather base near Alicante in Spain. In such case, accommodation and transport is included in the price. Accommodation and transport in Belgium are at the expense of the candidate.

Employment with Brussels Airlines
After successful completion, you will receive a contract as a first officer for Brussels Airlines and you will be scheduled for your first flights with passengers. During the first months, you will be accompanied by a training captain (line training period), who will coach and support you in operating the aircraft in a real-life operational environment. After the line training period, there is a final, practical assessment, the “line check”. Once the line check is passed, you are “fully released” as a first officer.

The Data Engineering Manager oversees a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, the data warehouse, and overall infrastructure. The Data Reporting & Products Manager oversees a team responsible for data reporting, data product owner, data governance, and overall user support.
