You are also responsible for the cabin safety on board and apply company and Belgian Civil Aviation Authority procedures rigorously.

You arrive at work on time for the pre-flight briefing, and adhere to company procedures and grooming standards
You ensure passengers to receive the highest possible standard of safety, service and customer care
You attend all necessary company training

Profile Requirements

You have reached the age of 18 by the time the training starts
You have excellent language skills in all three languages: English, French and Dutch, any other language is an asset
You are able to provide a copy of your diploma (minimum A2)
You are punctual, discreet, friendly and a good listener
You empathize with passengers and can keep a cool head at all times
You are willing to work in an irregular working pattern and during the weekend
You have a natural interest in different cultures and you are willing to work on our short-haul and long-haul network.
The ability to swim at least 25 meters
You have no visible tattoo’s or piercings

Purpose of the role

Have you always wondered how we organize our work behind the scenes? Are you airline operations? Do you have past experience as a Crew Planner or Crew Controller?

We are looking for talented individuals to reinforce our Crew Pre OPS team. As a Pre OPS officer, you are responsible for maintaining the rosters between publication and operations. Together with the team you will make sure that the flight production and trainings are correctly covered – all in accordance with the existing regulations

The Crew Pre-operations Officer reports to the Team Lead Rostering and is responsible to ensure that between roster publication and STD-72 hours, that all scheduled flights are crewed, that rosters are checked for legality and CLA compliance, any replanning of training events, checking and actioning of crew swaps and the adaption of rosters when required by network changes. Additionally to support with HOTAC admin and crew positioning.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Maintaining crew rosters between publication and D-3

Adapt, maintain and optimize all rosters between publication (+/- 15th of each month) and D-3 (Crew Watch range)
Ensure optimal flight and reserve/standby coverage
Ensure that rosters remain EASA and CLA compliant by performing regular checks
Ensure the smooth and efficient rescheduling of training events for cockpit and cabin crew members where needed; such as SIM sessions, ground courses, CBTs and check flights
Handle swap requests from crew members
Adapt the rosters in accordance with Network changes (cancellations, retimings, additional flights) and create new pairings where required
Support the Crew Watch team with administrational tasks, such as HOTAC and positionings

Stakeholder management

Have regular exchanges with the Crew Watch and Crew Planning teams on crewing topics
Contact crew members by mail and/or phone to discuss roster adaptations
Follow up with cockpit and cabin line management and the training department

Your profile

Crew Planner or Crew Control experience. Knowledge on training scheduling is a plus
Has experience in working in a team environment
Read, understand and follow procedures
Fluent in English And either Dutch or French
Previous experience working with Crew Management Systems
Problem solver with good analytical skills and pro-active.

Rated and Non-rated First Officers requirements:

Valid EASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A)/IR + ATPL frozen license
Valid Multi Engine/IR (A) rating
Multi Crew Coordination (MCC) course
Advanced UPRT Training according EASA.FCL.745.A; (only applicable for applicants who have never obtained any rating)
Good oral and written command of English language (ICAO Level 4 English language proficiency or higher)
Fluency in Dutch or French is a must
Current Class 1 Medical Certificate, still valid for at least 6 months
Certificate of good conduct (bewijs van goed gedrag en zeden/certificat bonne vie et moeurs)

Purpose of the position

The “Training Systems Expert” represents a key role in enabling and further implementing a paperless training organization by administering and coordinating the activities connected with the Prodefis e-file and TMPS system as well as Learning Management System software and other relevant operations manuals and training content. He/she will liase with various internal and external stakeholder, supporting the department managers in creating templates, follow-up on crew qualifications, continious evaluation of training outcomes and the embedding efforts of groupwide common training means.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

Administration and coordination of Prodefis training software
- Acts as point of contact for flight deck and cabin crews regarding all administrative and licence related (TPMS / efile / LMS) training questions and concerns
- Is responsible for the administration of Prodefis e-file, TPMS System and LMS System and coordinates the implementation of new e-file and TPMS related functions and projects
- Has the overall responsibility of the flight operations related LMS regarding administration, access, activation and content

support the training department managers regarding creating, managing and evaluating TMPS content and other documentation
- Creates and maintains events in TPMS on request of the Training Department, while supporting the Fleet Training Manager and Cabin Training Manager with the implementation of TPMS Templates
- Supports the Training Department Management in any technical and IT-related administrative tasks

Liaise with various internal and external stakeholder
- Manages and oversees the resources, technologies and necessary systems of the digital training environment systems in close liaison with IT and other relevant stakeholder, including liaison with the Lufthansa group member
- Supports the Licencing Officer in management and follow-up of all relevant crew qualifications (licence, type ratings, English language proficiency, medicals, online trainings, etc.) within the CMS via TPMS and e-file.

Your profile

Bachelor or equivalent by means of experience
substantial IT knowledge and skills
Project management experience desirable

Knowledge of prodefis TPMS, efile and/or other aviation related software highly desirable
Expertise in aviation and crew training desirable
Knowledge of EASA OPS and FCL regulations desirable
