Purpose of the position
Keep Brussels Airlines safe and secure while ensuring business continuity. This exciting role involves implementing security measures, coordinating emergency responses, and protecting our assets, employees, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Security Management:
- Lead security policy development and operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
- Train employees to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Fraud Prevention & Detection:
- Develop and implement anti-fraud strategies.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on fraud incidents.
- Enhance fraud detection measures.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate on compliance assessments and maintain records.
- Report to regulatory agencies.
- Team Collaboration:
- Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Work with IT, HR, Legal, and Operations to integrate security needs.
- Coordinate crisis response and post-incident evaluations.
- Lead Passport & Security Inspection Team:
- Manage passport and security inspection operations.
- Ensure compliance with immigration and security regulations.
- Develop and train a skilled team.
- Oversee day-to-day security inspections.
- Business Continuity Management (BCM) Coordination:
- Maintain and implement the BCM program.
- Coordinate with other departments and Lufthansa Group’s BCM team.
- Conduct regular BCM training sessions.
- Deputy to the Head of Security, Crisis & Emergency Response:
- Act as deputy during the Head’s absence.
- Oversee security operations and ensure continuity.

Your Profile:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a security environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent administrative and audit skills.
- Experience in risk assessment and security operations.
Behavioral Skills:
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
