Mission

You will be responsible as CAMO Engineer for technical & operational support to the in service fleet within the domain of cabin engineering, IFE and e-Enabled aircraft systems to drive operational efficiency. You work in a team with engineering colleagues in the operations engineering, close to the daily operations.

Tasks

Manage operational support activities and technical problem solving in cooperation with trouble shooting department, maximizing availability for aircraft operations.
Take responsibility to manage solutions on various cabin, cargo , IFE and e_Enabled aircraft system technical issues in the operations, to maximise aircraft availability and technical reliability
Use your OEM contacts to search support for technical queries and exchange experience
Manage coordination for complex technical queries, take control and lead the process to solve the problem quickly, if needed be on the aircraft to support trouble shooting
Issue Experience sheets for continuous improvement of recurrent or airworthiness related technical subjects in your domain
Act as the point of contact for technical issues within your domain for Part 145 and all other M&E CAMO departments , give necessary support to flight operations
Study incident related root causes & initiate relevant improvement actions
Give support to heavy maintenance queries in timely manner
Take responsibility to follow up implemented preventive maintenance actions and act accordingly
Use contacts within LH group to benchmark reliability KPI’s, share best practices and cooperate to jointly approach OEM’s for solutions
Act as Point of Contact with Authorities for any technical queries within your domain and comply to the regulations applicable for aircraft cabins
Act as a technical resource in relevant meetings

Your profile

Bachelor diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance
Knowledge op Part 145 and Part M responsibilities
Strong analytical performance in analysing problems and be critical in studies, detail for quality
Be well grounded in technical knowledge and communication skills to achieve the objectives
Strong personality and good communication skills as an “airline representative” to discuss and defend your technical-commercial problems in a professional manner
Ability to manage problems and projects in a structured manner, project management is an advantage
Experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance and engineering, e-Enabled aircraft systems is an advantage
Solid technical writing skills
Very good in English, verbal and written skills, knowledge of French or Dutch is seen as an asset
Good planner and organiser and project-oriented work
Knowledge in the essential functions of MS Office products (word, excel, PPT)

Purpose of the position

You assist the licensed aircraft Technician A, B1, or B2 in performing scheduled and unscheduled line- and light-maintenance tasks according to the appropriate aircraft maintenance manuals.

Your profile

You have a degree as Aircraft Technician and have followed and passed at least 50% of all modules on a A or B1 level (B2 level is a plus).

Mission

Responsible for maintaining Continued Airworthiness of the fleet by coordinating and monitoring the maintenance activities and all in service aircraft technical problems with the purpose to achieve the department objectives through efficient working and avoid delays & cancellations with safety as the highest priority.

Tasks

Control of the maintenance activities :

Manages maintenance activities and technical problem solving, maximizing availability for aircraft operations.

Take responsibility for the daily maintenance operations by introducing and maintaining the necessary policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective total Maintenance activity.
Management and coordination of technical reported problems in home base and outstations.
Manage and control unexpected situations, based on experience and knowledge to find possible solutions based on accurate information, in order to meet punctuality and guarantee continuity of operations.
Manage the AOG recovery process of airplanes in home base and outstations (organization of technical intervention).
Provide the best possible service and support to our crews and outstation MRO’s.
Act as the point of contact for the Part 145 maintenance organizations and all other operational departments regarding technical issues. Support to flight operations to minimize the schedule disruptions.
Monitor Control and rectification of Deferred Defects (including MEL/CDL) in due time, having direct impact on the operational performance of our fleet.
Manage & coordinate MEL/ CDL extensions whenever there is a risk that MEL rectification could not be performed within respective timeframe.
Fleet Technical Status update and communication of the Operational Limitations to other departments.
Organize shift handovers listing the open MEL/CDL’s, limitation on aircraft, repetitive defect checks, aircraft out/back to service, technical delays, reportable occurrences and pending repairs status.
Technical irregularity follow up, reporting and analyzation for root cause and correct categorization.
Give technical support to the Part 145 maintenance organization.

Screen and monitoring aircraft technical status :

Ensures control of the technical status of the fleet, steering the Part 145 and an optimized planning for the maintenance activities.

Manage the planning with correct priority of the MEL, CDL & CABIN DIL items avoiding potential technical interruptions and minimize any decreased operational limitation and pax comfort.
Transfer of any technical issue to the troubleshooting department in an efficient manner, which guarantees that a qualitative follow up can be ensured.
Live monitoring of a/c condition using specific tools (i.e. Aviatar) and/or aircraft condition data from post-flight reports and AMOS.

Review aircraft Release to Service for Continued Airworthiness :

Controls the executed P145 activities, ensuring compliance to EASA CAMO Regulations

Review and agree with the released work done by Part 145 in maintenance
Screen all deferred defects & the combination thereof, ensuring safe operation is not affected
Ensure compliance with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, including daily and weekly checks.
Report any issue that may have an impact on the safety of the aircraft/fleet or is not compliant to CAMO

Your profile

High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in aircraft maintenance
Minimum experience required: 5 years B1 or B2 (or equivalent)

You deliver the Release to Service in a conscientious, quick, and high-quality manner.

Your profile

You are a Part 66 A, B1 licensed Aircraft Technician (on at least one of our AC types) OR you are a Part 66 A, B1 licensed Aircraft on other AC types and motivated to be fully trained on our AC types.
You have a very good level of technical English (all our manuals and class room training are in English).

Purpose of the position

Within the Brussels Airlines Maintenance team, you will disassemble, service and assemble aircraft components covered by the Brussels Airlines component shop capability and replace parts if necessary. Main tasks & responsibilities:

Aircraft component maintenance:
- Ensure that the safety and quality standards as set by the company are obtained
- Executes disassembly, assembly and overhaul works on component related items according to a Component Capability List following the technical documentation of the component manufacturer
- Administer a compliant set of reporting (shop visit reports) and follow up measures. Administer inventory and stock of spare-parts in the component shop and order in time additional items
Ground support equipment maintenance:
- Executes disassembly, servicing and assembly works on ground support equipment following the technical documentation of the equipment manufacturer
- Assisting in tooling management
Any other duty as may be required by the production manager for the safe and punctual departure of the fleet

Assistance for non-aircraft related tasks:
- Assist production in general non-aircraft related tasks.
- Perform Aircraft towing related to Aircraft Maintenance.
- Assist in engine preparation before engine installation or shipping.

Your profile

Technical Secondary Education level A2 Electric, Electromechanics, Mechanic or equivalent by experience
Experience in aircraft or component maintenance is an asset.
Technical knowledge and experience with A/C structures and components not required but is an asset
Mastery of technical English

Purpose of the position

Follow-up & coordination on technical troubleshooting requirements in the daily operation of the Brussels Airlines fleet whilst taking ownership of non-standard troubleshooting or complex technical irregularities. The Trouble Shooter, reports to the CAMO MCC Manager (functional) & to the P145 Planning Manager (disciplinary)

Your responsibilities

Performs trouble shooting services in accordance with the MOE, CAME, Pro X, OEM data & in compliance to NAA & EASA regulations.
Ensures communication links between the P145 Operation Manager, MCC Manager, Maintenance Controller (MCC), Engineering, Planning, Training & Maintenance Engineers.
Performs ad-hoc and in-depth troubleshooting with a systematic approach (eg. ad-hoc shop visit report screening).
Provides technical assistance to flight crew and maintenance staff.
Coordinates all received information regarding technical problems in the daily operation
Monitors A/C Systems using specific tools (eg. Aviatar, FDM data, ECTM, Labo results), post flight reports & open workorders, to discover negative trends, recurrency or AOG risks.
Close follow-up & in-depth screening of MEL Items for next troubleshooting steps.
Create, follow-up & solve troubleshooting cases for individual aircraft and repetitive problems, as required
Support the engineering department with field experience.
Follow-up of ‘Electronic Pending Shelf’.
Brief/debrief line maintenance engineers & mechanics concerning technical problems and actions therefor
Monitors troubleshooting actions performed by maintenance
Recommends and/or supports improvements in close cooperation with Engineering
Takes over troubleshooting ownership in case of non-standard or complex technical irregularities
Records new or complex problems with a final resume (Technical Case Manager)
Reports deficiencies or developing fleet wide problems to Engineering.
Reports deficiencies in the daily operation to the MCC Manager & Maintenance Controller.
Reports organisational, training & development deficiencies within the Troubleshooting department to the P145 Planning Manager.
To participate in the continuous improvement process via your superior.

Your profile

Bachelor degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering OR equivalent relevant experience in aircraft maintenance (EASA Part 66 License)
Minimum 5 years of B1/B2 (OR equivalent relevant) experience
Good knowledge of EASA Part M, Part-145, Part-66
Holder of (active) aircraft type ratings operated by Brussels Airlines is a plus
Good communication skills, ability to prioritize, ability to work independently or as part of a team, reliable and motivated, good time management skills
