Purpose of the position

The Aircraft Cabin Technician is part of a team that delivers high quality cabin maintenance work within the EASA part 145 and BA approved scope and guidelines.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • The Aircraft Cabin Technician will quickly learn cabin maintenance activities and develop at least 2 of the following specialties:
    • cabin line maintenance, epoxy and ‘tedlar’ works
    • repair of aircraft seats
    • aircraft cabin removal/installation (e.g. sidewall panels, floor panels, bins, seats, ceilings, toilets, galley’s, linings)
    • painting of cabin and aircraft parts according to the manufacturer’s specs sheets
  • Assists in base maintenance and line maintenance to avoid cabin related discrepancies in accordance with the manufacturer approved maintenance data
  • Assists in cabin shop activities to ensure a clean and perfect cabin for our guests. This entails working on parts such as sidewall panels, floor panels, bins, seats, ceilings, toilets, galley’s, linings, etc.
  • Shares responsibility for the administration in accordance with the Brussels Airlines scope and EASA 145 rules
  • Ensures that level of the cabin shop meets the EASA 145 requirements by guarding cleanliness, tools, equipment and stock

Who are we looking for?

The Duty Manager leads the Hub Control Center (HCC) as Brussels Airlines station manager in compliance with contextual obligations, such as security, statutory requirements, national and international rules (IATA, ICAO, IOSA, DGR, ..). He/she will be responsible for the proactive assessment during disruption, ensuring & coordinating that all services are performed according to the agreed SLA’s in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

  • Monitoring and updating the different operational systems with information linked to the aircraft rotations.

Purpose of the position

 

Within the Brussels Airlines Maintenance team, you will disassemble, service and assemble aircraft components covered by the Brussels Airlines component shop capability and replace parts if necessary.  All maintenance is performed within stringent norms of tolerance and precision, according to established procedures and using the approved and calibrated tools and equipment.

Preventive and curative maintenance on ground support equipment in compliance with the equipment manufacturer specification. Providing assistance to production by handling non-aircraft related tasks, such as towing, engine preparation before installation or shipping, and other non-aircraft operational.

 

 

Your tasks

Aircraft component maintenance: 

  • Ensure that the safety and quality standards as set by the company are obtained
  • Executes disassembly, assembly and overhaul works on component related items according to a Component Capability List following the technical documentation of the component manufacturer
  • Administer a compliant set of reporting (shop visit reports) and follow up measures. Administer inventory and stock of spare-parts in the component shop and order in time additional items

 

Ground support equipment maintenance: 

  • Executes disassembly, servicing and assembly works on ground support equipment following the technical documentation of the equipment manufacturer
  • Assisting in tooling management
  • Any other duty as may be required by the production manager for the safe and punctual departure of the fleet

 

Assistance for non-aircraft related tasks: 

  • Assist production in general non-aircraft related tasks.
  • Perform Aircraft towing related to Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Assist in engine preparation before engine installation or shipping.

 

Your profile

  • Technical Secondary Education level A2 Electric, Electromechanics, Mechanic or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience in aircraft or component maintenance is an asset.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with A/C structures and components not required but is an asset.

Mission

As part of the Maintenance & Engineering department at Brussels Airlines, the Inventory Manager reports to the Head of Commercial and Supply Chain. In this key role, you will strategically manage and optimize the airline’s technical spare parts inventory to support operational, financial, and safety goals.

You will define and implement stocking policies, align inventory with fleet needs, and address obsolete or excess items. By monitoring performance metrics and ensuring regulatory compliance, you’ll provide valuable insights to senior management. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong inventory management expertise. The position is deputized by the Manager Warehouse & Ops Procurement.

Tasks

Inventory Management and Analysis

  • Define and implement stocking policies aligned with financial, operational, efficiency, and safety targets
  • Analyze inventory metrics (e.g. turnover, lead times, service levels) to improve performance and optimize stock
  • Set stocking criteria to ensure material availability tailored to fleet characteristics
  • Conduct reprovisioning analysis of serialized components based on reliability and performance

Tasks

Application Support

  • Ensure optimal performance of core Maintenance & Engineering software (CAMO and Part 145), serving as the primary user contact.

  • Create and maintain reports, widgets, and forms; monitor system performance; and collaborate with IT and suppliers on server management.

  • Support data clean-up and maintenance activities for relevant applications and databases.

Your profile

  • University degree (Bachelor’s) with focus on IT-administration or engineering, or equivalent through experience, with several years of work experience in relevant field (Aircraft maintenance and/or application management)
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of aircraft maintenance & engineering processes or demonstrated strong interest in the sector
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with AMOS or equivalent systems, preferably in an administrator or key user role

Purpose of the position

Within the Maintenance Planning department, you schedule all preventive and corrective maintenance on the Brussels Airlines fleet to have a balanced aircraft maintenance input plan and to produce work packages for each of these inputs which are then transferred to the production department for completion. The maintenance input plan must be prepared taking into account following variables:

  • aircraft maintenance tasks limits & due dates (from AMOS).
  • hangar space availability (or slot availability in case of contracted out maintenance).

  • Plan short - and long-term Maintenance events for Brussels Airlines & third party if required, you will be closely working with our MROs as well as internal parties such as Operations Control Centre, Maintenance Control Centre and Network Planning.
  • Compiling work orders and task cards to work packages taken into account all constraints (due dates, resources, skills/qualifications, parts, specific technical constraints).
  • Set up a long term maintenance plan to avoid aircraft being grounded (maintenance staggering programmes).
  • Contacts with external parties for specialized outsourcing (example : LDG & engine repair, composite repair, cleaning, …).
  • Analyze forecast and schedule maintenance tasks such as EO’s, SB’s, MEL Items, AD’s, life time components.
  • Daily follow-up of planning and adjustments in case of unforeseen events.
  • Calculating forecasts in function of operations and controlling of the maintenance limits.
  • Close cooperation with Production, Logistics, Manpower Planning, Work preparation & Engineering.

Your profile

Technical Background:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in a technical orientation or equal by experience (holding a P66 license).
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in an aviation maintenance or CAMO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of (technical) English and Dutch verbal and written skills. French is an advantage.
  • Basic applications MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with AMOS, good knowledge of EASA regulations, aircraft technical course(s) & experience with A330 & A32F are considered as real assets.

Interface and Coordination

Purpose of the position

Within our Maintenance & Engineering department at Brussels Airlines, the Maintenance Concept & Long Term Planning Manager will report to the Head of Maintenance Planning.

The Maintenance Concept & Long Term Planning Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the airline’s maintenance concepts and schedules, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the long-term reliability of the fleet.

This position requires a forward-thinking professional with strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to anticipate future needs while driving shared goals in a fast-paced airline environment. This position will be deputized by Head of Maintenance Planning.

 

Your tasks

As the Maintenance Concept & Long Term Planning Manager you will :

- Be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance concepts for the Brussels Airlines fleet by working together with Engineering to evaluate maintenance programs, assess feasibility and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

- Be responsible for developing and managing long-term schedules for maintenance activities anticipating future needs and adjusting plans accordingly to ensure alignment with both operational needs and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor and analyse maintenance forecasts to maintain accurate records and support informed decision-making.

- Collaborate with various teams to ensure that all maintenance tasks are effectively planned and executed, addressing any potential challenges proactively to ensure seamless operations.

Maintenance Planning:

- Developing and optimizing maintenance concepts for the Brussels Airlines fleet by working

together with Engineering to evaluate maintenance programs, assess feasibility, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

- Planning of scheduled Base Maintenance checks and special ground times of maintenance tasks such as but not limited to Landing Gear Overhaul, Paints, Heavy modifications Campaigns and cabin refurbishments.

-Acting as a project planner for specific maintenance initiatives as required, ensuring all aspectsare thoroughly planned and executed.

- Ensure that scheduled maintenance aligns with aircraft operational planning, minimizing disruption to commercial schedules.

- Continuously assess planning assumptions and proactively adjust schedules, based on operational changes, or regulatory updates.

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Strategic Procurement Manager, and Network to incorporate feedback and ensure seamless integration of schedules.

Documentation and Compliance:

- Assessing the feasibility of proposed maintenance concepts, identifying opportunities for adjustments and enhancements to improve efficiency, reducing costs and optimizing overall fleet performance.

- Verifying that long term maintenance activities are performed within legal timeframes and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain Long Term Planning Tool up to date.

- KPI’s creation to monitor on time performance of all preparation works & Mx concept Performance.

Coordination and Communication:

- Aligning and regularly communicating the long-term maintenance planning with stakeholders such as Network , Commercial Fleet Management & all relevant internal M&E partners.

- Maintaining effective communication with the Strategic Procurement Manager Base Maintenance & LDG, contracted Base Maintenance providers, material departments and engineering teams to align all planning and project aspects.

- Actively coordinating with the CAMO and Part-145 organizations to ensure seamless operations.

- Leading regular planning meetings and kick-off meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the LHG to facilitate active collaboration and exchange on maintenance concept discussions, ensuring alignment on technical standards, best practices and shared initiatives.

 

Your profile

-University degree (Bachelor’s) in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience.

- Strong technical background in aviation with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, and proven experience in maintenance planning.

- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, and Part-CAMO requirements, and maintenance scheduling principles.

- Proficient in maintenance management systems, particularly AMOS & Netline++, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey information clearly and build effective working relationships, while also being a collaborative team player.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with the ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

- Creative thinking skills to develop innovative solutions to challenges.

- Proficient in English (verbal and written); Dutch and / or French is a plus.
