As a Logistic Coordinator within our Uniform Department, you will play a critical role in managing the entire supply chain process for uniforms and workwear, from order placement to distribution, ensuring timely delivery and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full cycle of uniform order fulfilment for crew members and employees.
Coordinate and track logistics, including inventory management and collaboration with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
Negotiate with service providers and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Organize annual uniform dotation, monitor stock levels, and manage procurement processes.
Act as the escalation point for last-mile logistics and coordinate shipments to national and international outstations.
Manage uniform distribution for new hires, exits, and stock returns, ensuring accurate database records.
Conduct data analysis and reporting on supplier performance, stock levels, and process efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) and standard logistics software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Languages

English:Fluent.
Dutch or French.

Purpose of the position

As a Procurement Manager specializing in IT, you will play a key role in optimizing and managing procurement activities within the Lufthansa Group and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for developing strategic procurement alternatives, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven sourcing solutions, and supporting the company’s overall IT procurement strategy. Your efforts will contribute to securing optimal supply, driving cost savings, and aligning procurement initiatives with broader corporate goals.

Your tasks

Procurement Strategy & Management:

Develop procurement alternatives that focus on value and cost efficiency.
Collaborate on identifying and developing savings potential across the IT department.
Ensure an optimal supply chain for IT goods and services.
Create and implement procurement strategies for projects, focusing on selecting efficient and cost-effective suppliers.
Manage sustainable cost strategies, such as optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and increasing flexibility in fixed costs.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, leveraging existing power of attorney for high-value deals.
Set and coordinate target values and billing rates for procurement, ensuring transparency in decision-making, monitoring, and auditing processes.

Strategic Category Development:

Conduct procurement market research to stay informed of industry trends and innovations.
Perform business analysis, benchmarking, and market research to support decision-making.
Drive procurement strategies for IT categories, focusing on volume bundling and supplier optimization.
Implement innovative business models and streamline workflows through automation of manual processes.

Supplier & Contract Management:

Oversee supplier management, monitoring the performance and development of key suppliers.
Scout trends and negotiate terms to ensure strong supplier relationships and cost control.
Manage high-value procurement channels, ensuring robust supply chain designs and commercial approval processes.
Analyze service and cost trends, taking action to manage risks and enhance supplier agreements.

Risk & Process Management:

Identify and implement strategies to mitigate risks related to supplier performance and delivery.
Evaluate and optimize existing IT procurement processes in alignment with corporate standards.
Lead initiatives for process improvement and efficiency across IT procurement functions.

Knowledge & Relationship Management:

Serve as the central point of contact for all IT category procurement activities across the organization.
Develop and maintain transparency around procurement knowledge and processes within the IT domain.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and procurement partners to ensure alignment on strategic goals.

Your profile

Completed university degree in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, law or comparable.
Several years of professional experience in procurement and/or IT infrastructure management.
Excellent understanding of procurement market trends, cost management strategies, and risk mitigation.
Analytical and process-oriented mindset with the ability to drive continuous
Creativity in developing solutions to problems.
Precise ability to present complex issues and a high level of abstraction.
Strong communication and networking skills.
Knowledge of relevant areas of contract law.
Very high sense of responsibility and strong decision making skills.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage high-value contracts.
Builds and maintains strong, respectful working relationships with individuals from various cultures.
Willingness to travel for business.
Required : English and Dutch or French. German is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Tasks

Regional Procurement

Lead and practice category management for those products/ services where optimal procurement is performed at regional or country level, not limited to, facility services, vehicles, catering, security services and equipment, station services and equipment, lounges and baggage delivery, external resources.
Defining and implementing the regional category specific strategy for the categories of “Regional Procurement Belgium” and subsequently taking category specific strategic decisions.
Contributing to the achievement of the LHG target setting and strategy implementation.
Leading of all procurement activities of strategic and tactical sourcing within the defined framework for the categories of ”Regional Procurement Belgium”.
Leveraging the groups buying power for the categories of “Regional Procurement Belgium” to ensure competitive prices and conditions.
Exploiting of supplier innovations to improve product development and customer satisfaction.
Driving the selection and management of LHGs supply base for the categories of “Regional Procurement Belgium” to meet operational and strategic requirements via professional Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Establishing efficient and stable supply chains for the group companies to ensure supply chain resilience and business continuity while meeting the business requirements of the demand organizations and all group business units.
Strategic purchasing for global categories for transactions below 100k€ delegated from GCM.
Secure sustainability (ESG) within the area of responsibility, i.e. target setting, measuring and driving the organization to meet the target. Ensure supplier compliance to CSR strategy of the SN/Lufthansa Group.

SPOC for LH Group Procurement and Global Cluster Managers in Belgium and Brussels Airlines

Ensure consistent, effective applications of group procurement guidelines.
Ensuring compliance through correct application of processes, tools.
Configuring Lufthansa Group procurement targets to business units in Belgium.

Support to and Deputize the Head of Procurement when required

Active participation in, and commitment to, the implementation of change and organizational development initiatives and contribute to the development, leadership and governance of the Procurement department.
Makes decisions regarding supplier selections, claims, contract approvals, decisions affecting operational and financial results.
Act as duly authorized representative as per Power of Attorney for transactions related to purchase of goods and services.

Your profile

Higher education in business administration, finance (supply chain), or engineering.
Proven experience (+5 years) in procurement management, ideally within a regional or multinational context.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
Team player with experience engaging with middle and top management.

Purpose of the position

The Strategic Procurement Manager Construction Services is responsible for leading procurement efforts for construction-related projects across all Lufthansa Group Airlines. This role focuses on sourcing high-quality construction materials, services, and specialized equipment, negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations; ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects that meet Lufthansa Group’s quality and sustainability standards.

Your tasks

Leadership in Procurement Projects and Tenders:

Lead and manage high-value procurement projects and tenders within the Construction category for all Lufthansa Group airlines.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with legal, regulatory and zoning requirements specific to the construction industry.
Advise on and implement the most suitable procurement models such as traditional or design-build, based on project complexity, client preferences, budget constraints, and desired outcomes. Utilize RIBA models to facilitate effective decision-making during project planning.

Commodity and Supplier Strategy Development:

Identify, expand, and further develop the corresponding commodity in alignment with the developed commodity and/or supplier strategy.
Identify potential cost reductions within the commodity to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Supplier Management and Negotiation:

Lead supplier management activities for Construction suppliers, including the negotiation of supply concepts for the aftermarket.
Ensure a sustainable supply chain for operating airlines within the Lufthansa Group by securing reliable supplier agreements.
Proactively manage risks associated with supplier performance and material deliveries, implementing strategies to mitigate disruptions.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare decision papers, board reports, and detailed analyses to support strategic decisions.
Utilize and update procurement analytic tools to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Contract Performance Management:

Conduct active contract performance management with suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements for pricing, performance, and bonuses.
Address and negotiate claims with suppliers in cases of structural deviations to maintain contractual integrity.

Special Projects Management:

Manage and perform special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the procurement department.

Sustainability

Champion sustainable procurement practices to support the decarbonization of construction activities.
Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to make informed material and supplier choices, positioning procurement as a key strategic partner in achieving environmental and business goals.

Your profile

Completed university/university of applied sciences degree with a focus on Construction (Architecture/ Civil Engineer)
5 Years of proven professional experience, preferably within procurement activities.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Dutch; French is a surplus.
Strong negotiation skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis and cost management related to construction procurement.
Familiarity with construction project management software and tools is an advantage.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple high-value construction projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of Construction and or procurement of construction services.
Understanding of legal, regulatory, and zoning requirements specific to the construction industry.
Being eligible to live and work in Belgium.
