Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Lounge Host to strengthen our team. In this role, you are responsible for delivering an outstanding and personalized lounge experience for our premium guests. You actively anticipate guest needs, provide attentive service, and ensure that every visitor enjoys a comfortable, welcoming, and stress-free environment before their flight.
Curious what your responsibilities would look like?
As a Lounge Host, you play a key role in maintaining the high service standards of the lounge. You ensure that lounge access policies are applied correctly and consistently, while creating a warm and professional first impression for every guest. You also help maintain the overall atmosphere and presentation of the lounge, ensuring that the environment remains organized, calm, and of the highest quality.
In this position, you will alternate between two key roles within the lounge operation:
Lounge Host – Reception Desk
At the welcome desk, you act as the first point of contact for our guests. You greet passengers warmly and verify lounge eligibility by checking boarding passes, frequent flyer status, and lounge invitations in accordance with the established access policies. You ensure a smooth and efficient admission process while maintaining a friendly and professional approach. In addition, you provide guests with essential information about the lounge facilities, flight updates, and boarding procedures, ensuring they feel informed and well taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Maître de Lounge – Guest Experience
Inside the lounge, you act as a host and hospitality ambassador, ensuring that guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay. You circulate within the lounge, engage with guests, and proactively offer assistance where needed. This may include providing flight information, assisting with personal requests, guiding guests through lounge services, and ensuring that all facilities meet the highest standards. Particular attention is given to our most valued frequent flyers, including HON Circle members, ensuring they receive personalized service and the best possible lounge experience.
Working as a Lounge Host requires a strong service mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs in a dynamic airport environment. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a premium lounge experience that reflects the hospitality and quality standards of Brussels Airlines.
